Azure is a national level techno-cultural-management fest hosted annually by Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirappally. This year, we are proud to present Azure’12, on the26th, 27th and 28th of January, 2012.

The fest comprises of 50 events worth a total cash prize of Rs. 5,00,000. Azure is one of the most sought after event in engineering history, with a fame that matches its scale.

Azure also brings together various events all in the same venue. We have workshops on ethical hacking by TechDefence in collaboration with IIT, Mumbai and on robotics by Thinklab. We also have exhibitions by KSEB, Apple computers along with an Auto Expo on modified cars.

After establishing a strong foot in the international arena, Amrita University, Amritapuri campus is organizing a first-of-its-kind all India student multi-fest “VIDYUT” on February 1 to 3, 2012. Planned in the lines with the university’s vision and mission, VIDYUT will host several technical, management and cultural events like paper presentations, workshops, invited talks, exhibitions, and competitions for undergraduate and post graduate students, with the theme “technology for humanity”. In this modern era of advanced science and technology applications in communication, warfare and cyberspace, VIDYUT 2012 events will aim to create awareness among the participants on how to utilize technology for humanitarian activities.

KIFF(Karunagappalli Inter-IHRD Fives Football), the fives football tournament between IHRD engineering colleges will be hosted by College of Engineering, Karunagappally during 12-14 of December 2011.

With every new release of windows we come across bunch of new and useful features. The interface has become great in Windows 7 but still it lacks some basic features like the pause/resume feature in Windows copy operation.

On 08th July 12:30 pm the Mural club of Cek was inaugurated . All the students and teachers came.After a little speech of Sir.Rajesh ,a lie telling competition was also conducted and Bavyalakshmi got the first prize.The Mural club is mainly meant for promoting the students extra curricular activities and to make them proper to fly in this new world .Every Engineering college’s aim is to make the professionals and give to the society ,so clubs such as mural clubs helps to make it better.All the students who are interested to improve your curricular activities are invited to this club by just giving a 10 rupee as registration fee to their corresponding mural club representatives .

There will be a Interactive session with our seniors placed in different IT firms on 15th of this month @ 12.30 in Seminar Hall.All those students of 4th and 3rd year who are interested kindly attend this… Here u can ask them about their experience, important qns, books to be referred…any thing and every thing to prepare for the placemnt.

Yes, Emergency Response System. Feels like some final year project topic or something? It’s nothing related to that,but… It is exactly what the name means.

It’s just 4 days since we have started our classes and we had 2 strikes! And thus 2 holidays. We can expect a lot in the coming 5 years if Ommen chandy can cling to the seat. There is nothing to complain about him. But its the present opposition. They have a very nice track record of conducting all those stuffs like strikes, ‘padippu mudak’ etc etc much frequently.

These holidays are not just normal holidays(Like those days we procrastinate our biological clock by some 4-5 hours). But these are some nasty days in which we wake up early and reach the college, still being sure about the holiday(Something like our national award winner says: ‘Chilapo biriyani koduthalo?’). And expectations wont go in vain, and the classes will be dispersed before the 2nd hour for sure. 

The principal declared that the class for the academic year 2011-12 will commence from 1/7/2011.Registration for S3, S5 and S7 semesters shall be done on 1/7/2011 its self.

All students of S3 Semester have to come with their parents at the time of registration
