Whoa!  whoa!! what an amazing event it was.  ”ROOBAROO!!!-Face it or show it-2011″     There was really  a feeling that it was going to be a good programme .But nobody expected it to be such an OUTSTANDING one. Reporting IInd Prize

Everyone was anxiously waiting for 24th of february for so long that we even had a small countdown with us  .This was suppose to be the last arts for us,the final year students. finally it was 24th and the first day of “ROOBAROO” name of our arts festival and inauguration  of  the SENATE (won by SFI , like every year).

On the morning of 24th i was in a fix what to wear for arts. I was completely confused and had no idea what to wear. I put on shirt and in a few seconds i changed it. When i finally wore one , my mom said it was not looking good so had to change it again. So after an entire session of dress rehearsal, i  finally wore a double pocketed shirt. Read more »

Reporting IIIrd Prize

The ROOBAROO 2011 did its kickoff on the 24th February 2011 in the College Of Engineering,Karunagappally. The day began with a light drizzle of rain. The crowd piled up only by 10 A.M. As usual it is the trademark of CEK students. The comperers were Rajeshwari and Lekshmi Priya of the third year. They did a fine job out there.The programme started off with the Prayer song “Anupama Sneha Chaithanyame” by Tinu and her group.Following that,there was a western song which was sung by the first year guy Aneesh Nair. It was an enthralling performance. Just after that was the solo dance performance by Neethu S. of  the fourth year. Let me call this “ON THE WAY…”

While telling about Roo Ba Roo, much I have to explain is about the green room events in which I had been an active participant. I have so many things to tell you but it will be boring for the reader. Most of my readers know that am a day scholar, but the spirit of Roo Ba Roo was able to drive me to become a hosteller. The roo ba roo,the dream of our batch.By the planning,thinking,effort,friendship at last it has became true….
I write this report with a bad feel that the programs which i include is now running.

The roo ba rooo …is not just an arts fest,its the time of battle.In these days, in college there is no batches,branches,teacher……and attendance to00…. …The battle begun at the second day,because of the group events.And at that time i am happy that there is no seniors and juniors.All are like friends,sry no they are real friends. It happens every time I am there near the sound system during any event! From my first event in our college till RooBaRoo it happened without fail. Every time, something happens to the amps or speaker or just the players which would seriously hinder the event.

On the first day of RooBaRoo I accidentally stopped the music during one of the dance done by our seniors. I am disclosing the reason for that first time here! Read more »
